Sarah first took up Ju Jitsu with Shihan Mike Johnson 7th Dan in 1989. Training for a couple of years under Mike Johnson until Judo eventually won through and Ju Jitsu took a back seat, returning to it again for a short period in 1994. Then in 1999 Sarah took to the Ju Jitsu mat for the 3rd time, this time under Sensei Kevin McKane. From there she worked her way from Purple belt to eventually gain her 1st Dan in Ju Jitsu in 2002.
Sarah's teaching experience started in 1990 running a Junior Judo lesson at her home Club. She currently teaches as well as Ju Jitsu, both Adult and Junior Judo, has taught at many local Martial Arts Seminars and had several requests to give private tuition.
